在导入部分,通过guessing和brainstorming两个任务,引导学生认识本课时所要学的内容,激发学生在学习课文之前对于英国的一些认识和理解。

读前部分设置了一个问题,英国的全称,以及为什么英国是一个国家,但是在英国的全名中却有两个名字,通过这个问题,让学生带着疑问去阅读,通过阅读寻找答案。
