设计意图

Thisisthesecondteachingperiod.Inthisperiod,themaintaskfortheteachertoaccomplishistoguidestudentstohaveagoodunderstandingofthetext.Variousreadingactivitiesaredesignedforstudentstogetthemainideaanddetailedinformationofthetext.Afterthat,thestudentsareexpectedtopractice,usingthelanguage.

教学重点

Getstudentstolearnmoreaboutbodylanguage.Theyshouldbeawarethatdifferentbodylanguageindifferentcountriesisnotgoodorbad,butissimplywaysinwhichcultureshavedeveloped.Afterlearningthetext,studentsareexpectedto:

I.Haveagoodunderstandingofculturaldifferencesandsimilaritiesinbodylanguageindifferentcountries.

II.Learnthekeywordsandphrasesbyheart:represent,curious,approach,misunderstand,likely,ingeneral,avoid.
