Liketeamproblem-solvinginclass,onlineproblemsaregradedonlyonparticipation:Studentsreceivefullcreditaslongastheytrytheproblem,eveniftheiransweriswrong.Onlinefeedbackproblemsaccountfor10%ofthefinalgrade.

MidtermExams

Three80-minutemidtermexamswillbegiven.Themidtermexamseachaccountfor15%ofthefinalgrade.

Midtermquestionswilltypicallybevariationsofpriorproblemsfromclassandpsets,andthebestwaytoprepareistoreviewonthepublishedsolutionstotheseproblems.Thefirstexamcoversallpreviousweeks’material;subsequentexamsfocusonthematerialafterthepreviousexam.

FinalExam

Therewillbeathree-hourfinalexam.Thisexamisworth25%ofthefinalclassgrade.ThefinalexamwillcovertheentiresubjectwithsomewhatgreateremphasisonmaterialfromafterMidterm3.Mostexamq
