很兴奋站在这里做这篇短小的演讲，我演讲的主题是青年是祖国的将来。
WhenpreparingfortheEnglishspeechcontest,Isimplywanttosearchsomearticlesasthecontentsofmyspeech.Ireadalotofarticles,somefromtheuniversityprofessor,somefromthefamoushost,somefromthecollegestudents,andevenfromjuniorhighschoolstudents.Butafterreadingit,Igaveuptheidea,Ievenfeltshameful.Today,thetopicIwanttotalkaboutisasolemnandseriousthemefullofgloryandpride,whichisacommonaspirationofallourChinese.EveryChinesehashisowndreamofChina,andofcourse,thereisadreamlingeringinmyheartonlybelongstomyown.
在预备英语演讲竞赛的时候，我本想简洁地从网上搜寻一些文章作为我演讲的内容。我看过许多文章，有闻名主持人的、北大教授的、高校生的，也有学校生的。但是看完之后，我放弃了当时的想法，我甚至为当时的想法感到有一些惭愧。由于今日我站在这里向大家演讲的主题，是一个庄重而严厉?的主题;是一个布满荣耀与骄傲的主题;是每一个中华儿女共同期盼的主题。每个人都有属于他们自己的中国梦，而我，当然也有始终萦绕在心怀只属于我的中国梦。

记得刚刚上学那会儿，我们天真无邪。在课本里，我们学到了许多许多学问，也明白了许多许多道理，我们对祖国也有了一个最基本的概念。我们知道我们的祖国处处布满阳光，正在渐渐进展，而我们，就是祖国将来的花朵，将来的盼望。我们幻想将来能够成为祖国的盼望。
