EveryoneknewthatKevinhadafantasticsingingvoice,butAlexanderstillcouldn’thelpimagininghimselfasamemberofthechoir.Wouldn’titbefun,hethought,tosingwithotherkidseverydayandhavesomeoneactuallyteachhimaboutsinging?

Afterawhile,thechoirdirector,Mr.Robeson，walkedinandtoldthekidsthattheyweretosingasongindividually,singasagroupandanswersomequestions.Soontheindividualtestbegan.WhenAlexanderstoodonthestage,hetriedtocalmdownandpretendedhewassingingintheshower.Hefeltsatisfiedwhenhewasdone,atleastuntilKevin’sturncame.AsKevin’sconfidentvoicefilledtheroom,Alexanderrealizedthathewouldneversoundthatgood.
