Thecontrolcableattachedtothisrotatorcould,intheeventofanearbyordirectlightningstrike,carrylethalvoltagesdown

thecableandintoyourhome.Yaesustronglyrecommendstheinstallationofsuitablelightningarrestorsonallcontrol

cablesandcoaxiallead-incablesfromyourantennainstallation.Seeyourdealerfordetailsofavailablelightning-protection

devices.

Ifanelectricalstormshouldbereportedinyourarea,quicklyunplugthecontrolcablefromtherearoftherotatorscontrol-

lerbox,anddisconnecttheACcablefromthewalloutlet.Disconnectthecoaxialcable(s)fromtheantenna(s)aswell.Do

thisonlyifthelightningisnotinyourimmediatearea,asyoucouldbekilledinstantlyiflightningshouldstrikewhileyou

areholdingacable.
