案例一
活动方式：PairWork（P27）
活动内容：Talkaboutthedishtobetakentoapotluckdinner.
学情分析：
学生通过听力，已经获取了美国四种常见食物（hamburger，nachos，fortunecookie，gumbo）的起源、制作原料、口味等。本活动需要学生讨论自己参加potluckdinner要带的菜，要从食物的名称、菜谱、做法等方面相互交流。
教学目标：
使用恰当的语言表达自己参加potluckdinner要带的食物名称、菜谱、做法等方面信息。
活动过程：

活动内容：讨论多元文化形成的原因、优点和挑战。
学情分析：
多元文化形成的原因是多方面的，不同地区形成的原因也不一样，比如说美国多元文化的形成主要是各国移民，贵州则有深远的历史原因。多元文化的优点和挑战也是一个很大的话题，因此学生在这个讨论活动中的难度主要是背景知识了解的少，所以在讨论活动开始，教师先提供给学生尽可能多的素材学习，然后再开展讨论。
教学目标：
1.分析多元文化形成的原因。
2.阐释多元文化的优点和挑战。
活动过程：

教师给学生提供素材，让学生在课前阅读，初步形成自己的观点。
