1SCOPE.Thisproceduredescribesanacceleratedlaboratorycorrosiontestmethodtoevaluate
assembliesandcomponents.Thetestprocedureprovidesacombinationofcyclicconditions(salt
solution,varioustemperatures,humidity,andambientenvironment)toacceleratemetallic
corrosion.Theprocedureiseffectiveforevaluatingavarietyofcorrosionmechanisms,suchas
general,galvanic,crevice,etc.Thetestdurationcanbeindividuallytailoredtoachieveany
desiredlevelofcorrosionexposure.Also,synergisticeffectsduetotemperature,mechanicaland
electricalcyclingcanbecomprehendedbythistest.SeeAppendixAfortypicalmodifications.
NOTE:TestdurationsAandBcanbeusedasbothQCtestsandvalidationtestsdependingon
thepurposeofthetest.TestdurationsCandDoranymodifiedtestaretobeusedforvalidation
anddevelopmentpurposes.
1.范围。本实验(加速腐蚀实验)是评估零件和组建的方法。本实验过程以一套循环体系(盐溶液,
不同温度条件,湿度,周围环境)来进行金属加速腐蚀实验。本实验过程可以有效评估各种腐蚀
途径如普通腐蚀,电腐蚀,裂缝等。本实验可以达到任何腐蚀曝露要求水平。当然本实验也包含
了一些由温度,机械和电循环造成的相互影响。见附件A的典型修改。
注:基于本实验的目的,用循环实验方案A和B来进行QC实验和认证实验,循环实验C和D或
其它改良实验仅为验证和发展所用。

0.25%sodiumbicarbonate)saltmistapplicationscoupledwithhightemperatureandhigh
humidityandmoderatelyhightemperaturedryoff.Itrequiresa16hworkdayoranautomatic
cyclingtestchamber.
IMPORTANT:Engineeringdrawingsandmaterialspecificationsthatreferencethistestprocedure
mustspecifythetestduration,(A,B,CorD)orthenumberoftestcyclesasindicatedinTable1.
