二、冠词的基本用法
（一）不定冠词a、an的用法
1、a和an都用于可数名词单数前，泛指人和物。表示可数事物中的一个。但两者用法有区别：
（1）若随后的单词以辅音音素开头，用a。如：alotof，agoodidea，apear。
（2）若随后的单词以元音音素开头，用an。如：anexample，anorange，anapple。
表示泛指一个人/物。
如：Thereisabookonthetable.
（二）定冠词the的用法
1、用于表示世界上独一无二的事物前.【专有名词前theGreatWall（长城）】
如：thesun,themoon,theearth,theworld等.
2、用于表示方位的名词之前.
如：theeast,theright.
用于序数词或形容词的最高级之前.
如：thefirst,thetallest.
用于形容词之前,使其名词化.
如：thesick,thewounded.
用于由普通名词构成的专有名词之前.
如：theUnitedStates.
用于江河、海洋、海峡、山脉、群岛、建筑物等的名词之前.
如：theChangjiangRiver,theEastLake.
7、用于复数姓氏之前，表示“夫妇”或“全家”.如：TheSmiths
8、用于乐器的名词前.如：playthepiano;playtheviolin.
9、发明物.如：ThecompasswasinventedinChina.
10、年代名词前如.Helivedinthecountrvsideinthe1970s
（三）不用冠词的用法（零冠词的用法）
1、0（圆溜溜的像个球）：所以球类、棋类前一般无冠词。如：playfootball，playchess
2、1,2（12个月）：月份前无冠词
3、3（一日三餐):三餐前无冠词
4、4(一年四季）：四季前一般也无冠词）
5、5,6（五颜六色）：颜色前无冠词
6、7（一周七天):星期前面无冠词
7、8（巴拉巴拉人在说话，也就是语言）：各种语言前无冠词
8、拼音：在拼音名词前，一般不加任何冠词，如：ThomasGreen；ChangfengPark
