Abstract
Adolescenceisacrucialperiodofindividualdevelopmentandsocialization.Interpersonal
interactionisanimportantmeansforadolescentstoknowthemselves,othersandsociety,which
directlyaffectsthehealthygrowthofadolescents.Inrecentyears,withtheincreasingdivorcerate,
thenumberofsingle-parentfamilieshasalsoincreased,andfamilychangeshaveseriouslyaffected
thephysicalandmentalhealthofadolescents.Thephenomenaoflowself-esteem,sensitivity,poor
communicationandavoidanceofcommunicationhavebecomecommoncharacteristicsof
adolescentsinsingle-parentfamiliesandarenotconducivetothesocialdevelopmentof
adolescents.Adolescentsfromsingle-parentfamiliesinsecondaryschoolshaveasignificantlack
offamilycommunicationskillsinparticipatinginactivities,interactingwithpeergroupsandother
communityactivities,whichwillaffectthefuturedevelopmentofadolescents.Thisstudyisbased
ontheinvestigationofsingle-parentfamiliesinAmiddleschool,theobservationandinterviewof
single-parentteenagers,andtheanalysisoftheplightofsingle-parentteenagersinsocial
interaction.Analysethecausesofthisproblem,assessthespecificneedsofadolescentsinsingle-
parentfamiliesintheirinterpersonalskills,andinterveneintheprofessionalapproachofsocial
worktoimproveinterpersonalskillsofsingle-parentadolescentswithaviewtopromotingthe
healthydevelopmentofsingle-parentadolescents.
