HelenolepisobrucheviKaratajute-TalimaaplusLoganelliascotica(Traquair)occurinlittoral,sublittoralanddistalupliftedsublittoralenviron-
ments,respectively.ElegestolepisgrossiKaratajute-Talimaa?shtaxaoccurinbothlittoralandsublittoralenvironments,whereasthoseofTuvalepis
schultzeiZigaiteandKaratajute-Talimaaaremoretypicalofdistalupliftedenvironment.Ourobtaineddatacontributetotheunderstandingofthe
Silurianbiostratigraphyandlitho-andbiofaciesofthewholeregion.
