【设计理念】

根据学情和本课的语法及话题，本节课的教学设计将读与写相结合，以1a阅读文本为载体，学会通过图片和语境猜词，学会把握文章篇章结构和主旨大意，构建思维导图。

【教材分析】

主要教学活动为1a和2a。本节课通过文章的形式具体介绍有关地震的知识以及在地震中如何保护自己。本篇文章以HowtoProtectYourselfintheEarthquake为题，分别对地震知识进行介绍，在室内外对付地震的方法及余震的介绍，最后紧扣主题加入情感教育。

【学情分析】

学生不仅需要对之前学过的知识进行整合和深化，还需要掌握新的学习方法和应试技巧。因此，教师在这一阶段需要特别关注学生的学业发展和心理健康。

【教学目标】
