教材分析
本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语2基础模块》中第八单元的阅读和写作（Readingandwriting）板块，本阅读语料具体描述了50年前后作者亲身经历的环境变化，对比发现环境被破坏的事实，倡导人们积极采取行动爱护环境，习作练习完成一份保护环境倡议书。通过任务性学习，培养学生的阅读能力，掌握倡议书的基本结构特点，检测语言的实际运用能力，同时树立绿色、低碳、环保的理念。
学情分析
通过听、说课的学习，学生能准确表达全球变暖的危害，介绍垃圾分类的方法和作用，有宣传和倡导保护环境的意识，但缺乏对以前优美环境的了解，通过本阅读语料的学习，可对比分析、系统认识环境问题，更深刻的感受保护环境的意义。教师应积极引导，介绍人们为环保已作出的努力和取得的成绩，激发学生加强环保，人人有责的意识。
