教材分析
本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语2基础模块》中第六单元的阅读和写作（Readingandwriting）板块，本阅读语料通过庖丁解牛故事，展现了技艺掌握的三个阶段，总结了庖丁成功的因素；写作要求向外国友人讲述庖丁解牛的故事。完成各项任务的过程中学生应掌握各种阅读技能，了解中国的工匠精神品质，用以对比自身的治学态度，激发学习伟大工匠们优秀品质的愿望，传承和传播中国工匠精神。
学情分析
通过听、说课的学习，学生对工匠精神的内涵能发表看法，并了解中西方文化背景下工匠精神的侧重点不同。本阅读语料中的工匠故事学生都知道，但就如何用英语把庖丁的成功因素、工匠养成的三个阶段讲述出来？还需采用各种阅读技巧，掌握更多词汇和表达，在完成相应任务的过程中，更深地感受中华民族敬业的传统美德，并更恰当地讲给外国友人，传播中国的工匠精神，培养爱岗敬业的精神。
