Choosingagoodstoryisjustasimportantasyouraudioproductionoreditingskills.Forexample,afavoriteentryfromlastyearwasapersonalstory,reportingonayoungperson’sexperiencelearningtoreadwithdyslexia(阅读障碍)anddiscussionsoneverydaytopicslikeschoollunchandteenfashion.Again,youcanchooseanytopicyouwishtoexplore.

Theselection

Ourjudgeswillselectamiddleschoolandhighschoolgrandprizewinner.Thegrandprizeincludesacertificate,atrophy,andaninterviewfromNPR.Forfourthgraders—anewcategorywecreatedlastyear—we’llselectthebestentriesandairsomeorallofthosepodcastsonNPRprograms.Inpreviousyears,ourwinnersalsoreceivedadditionalrecognitionfromtheirschools,andmanywereinterviewedbylocalmedia.
