Thedirectreflectionofhumanhealthstatusliesinphysiologicalsignals,andthe
acquisitionandmonitoringofphysiologicalsignalsarecrucialforhumanhealthmanagement.
Thisarticlepresentsaportable,low-cost,andintelligentmulti-physiologicalsignalacquisition
systemthatmeetstherequirementsofhomehealthmonitoring.
Thedesignedportablemulti-physiologicalsignalacquisitionsysteminthisarticleconsists
ofhardwareandsoftwarecomponents.Thehardwaresystemincludesafront-endsignal
acquisitionmodule,controlmodule,communicationmodule,andpowermodule.Thesoftware
systemconsistsofamobileAndroidappandacloud-baseddatabase.Thehardwaresystem
utilizestheADS1299front-endamplificationchip,MAX30102photoplethysmographysensor,
andLMT70temperaturesensortocapturephysiologicalsignalssuchaselectrocardiogram
(ECG),electroencephalogram(EEG),electromyogram(EMG),electrooculogram(EOG),body
temperature,andpulsewave.ThecontrolmoduleemploysanSTM32F103series
microcontroller.Communicationbetweenthehardwareacquisitionterminalandthemobileapp
isachievedusingaBluetoothmodule.Themobileappreceivesandinterpretsthesignals,
appliesalgorithmssuchasadaptivefiltering,wavelettransform,andmedianfilteringtoprocess
thesignals.Featuredetectionalgorithmsareutilizedtoanalyzethewaveformandcalculate
physiologicaldatasuchasheartrate,bloodoxygensaturation,heartratevariability,RR
intervals,andbodytemperature.TheAndroidappdisplaysthephysiologicalsignalwaveforms,
relatedphysiologicalparameters,anduploadsthecorrespondingmeasurementdatatothe
cloud-baseddatabaseforstorage.
