Aftersendingherinventiontothe2014DiscoveryEducation3MYoungScientistChallenge,WuwaschosenasafinalistandwasabletoworkwithDr.JesseMiller,whoisaproductdevelopmentspecialist.
“Hehelpedmeunderstandhowimportantitistomakesurethatmyinventionworkedforthepeoplewhowereusingitandthatitwasuser-friendly,”Wusays.
Asayoungscientist,Wuhassomeadviceforotherstudentsofherage:“Iwouldliketotellthemthattheyshouldchoosesomethingtheyreinterestedin.Sotheyllbewillingtospendmoretimeonitandenjoyworkingonitmore.Also,whentheresdifficulty,theyshouldjustcontinueworkinghardbecausetheyllgetoverit.”
