教材分析
本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材，《英语2基础模块》中第三单元的LanguagePractice板块，要求学生掌握过去进行时态的基本用法并对其进行运用，提高语用能力；完成语境中的练习任务，巩固并真正会运用本单元的语言点。
学情分析
过去进行时态，是初中已经学过的八大时态之一，在例句选用上对课文内容起到进一步巩固复习的作用，同时也可在学生小组合作的任务型学习中，再次对语法点进行的巩固复习。词语运用的练习是巩固版本单元的语言点。这节语言练习课难度低，实用性和可操作性强，有利于激发学生学习积极性，提高学生的语用能力。
