YoucanfindfirmwarefilesintheSupportsectionoftheRaritanwebsite.

OnlyuserswiththeCCSetupandControlprivilegecanupgradeCC-SG.

YoushouldbackupCC-SGbeforeupgrading,andsendthebackupfilestoaPCforsafekeeping.SeeBackingUpCC-SG(onpage

3)andSaveaBackupFile(onpage4).

YoushouldcheckCC-SGsdiskstatusbeforeupgrading.SeeCheckDiskStatus(onpage2).Ifthereisanindicationthatadrive

needstobereplacedorisquestionable,ortheRAIDArrayneedstoberebuiltorthestatusisquestionable,contactRaritan

TechnicalSupportbeforeproceedingwiththefirmwareupgrade.

IfyouareoperatingaCC-SGcluster,youmustremovetheclusterbeforeupgrading.UpgradeeachCC-SGnodeseparately,then

re-createthecluster.SeeUpgradingaCluster.

Important:IfyouneedtoupgradebothCC-SGandadeviceorgroupofdevices,performtheCC-SGupgradefirstthen

performthedeviceupgrade.

CC-SGwillrebootaspartoftheupgradeprocess.DONOTstoptheprocess,reboottheunitmanually,poweroff,orpower

cycletheunitduringtheupgrade.

ToupgradeCC-SG:

1.DownloadthefirmwarefiletoyourclientPC.

2.LogintotheCC-SGAdminClientusinganaccountthathastheCCSetupandControlprivilege.

3.ChooseSystemMaintenanceMaintenanceModeEnterMaintenanceMode.Enterpassword,delaytime,andmessagefor

users.Alluserswillbeloggedoutwhentimedelayends.

4.OnceCC-SGisinmaintenancemode,chooseSystemMaintenanceUpgrade.

5.ClickBrowse.NavigatetoandselecttheCC-SGfirmwarefile(.zip)thenclickOpen.

6.ClickOKtouploadthefirmwarefiletoCC-SG.
