Thisspeci?cationprovidesthegeneralweldingrequirementsforweldingaircraftandspacehardware.Itincludesbutisnotlimitedtothefusionweldingofaluminum-based,nickel-based,iron-based,cobalt-based,magnesium-based,andtitanium-basedalloysusingelectricarcandhighenergybeamprocesses.Therearerequirementsforweldingdesign,personnelandprocedurequali?cation,inspection,andacceptancecriteriaforaerospace,supportandnon-?ighthardware.Additionalrequirementscoverrepairweldingofexistinghardware.Acommentaryforthespeci?cationisincluded.
