ThelocationofthisexperimentwastheGreatBarrierReefintheCoralSea，found

alongsidetheeastcoastofQueensland，Australia，whichisfamousforhavingthe

largestcoralreefsystemintheworldthat’s2，300kilometreslongandcoversanarea

ofnearly344，400squarekilometres.Byusingloudspeakerstoreproducesuchsounds，

areasofdeadcoralreefswerefoundtoattracttwiceasmanyfish，comparedtoplaces

wherenosoundswereplayed.Thesereturningfishcouldhelpintherecoveryofthis

ecosystembygivingthoseareasofcoralachanceofnewlife.
