ThisspecificationcoverstheperformanceofISOmetricorSAEJ476atoallowusewithmalethreaded

fastenerswithsealercompoundappliedtothethread.

NOTE:Fastenerswithasealercompoundappliedtothethreadarenotrecommendedforre-useafter

initialassembly.

Chemicalresiduesfromsubsequentwashproceduresmayadverselyaffectthecuringperformanceofthe

compound,andcareshouldbetakenintheselectionofanymediaemployed.
