Hello,everybody!itismygreathonortobeheretosharemyideawith
you.Today,IwilltalksomethingaboutDREAM——Awordthathaschanged
theworld.
“Whatdoyouthinkisthewordthathasreallychangedourworld”
WhenIwasaskedaboutthisquestionforthefirsttime,without
thinkingittoomuch,awordflashintomymind——
DREAM,D-R-E-A-M.Peoplemoreorlessdreamaboutdifferentthings,tobe
ateacher,adoctor,ascientist,abusinessmanandsoon.Allthesepeople
whohavedreamsshouldberespected,becauseDreamsmaketheworldgo
around.Wegrowgreatbyourdreams.Allbigmenaregreatdreamersintheir
youth.Everyonehasadream,andeverythingstartsasone’sdaydream.
MartinLutherkinghadadream.Hedesiredforafuturewhereblacks
andwhiteswouldcoexistharmoniouslyasequals.Byspeakingthewayhe
did,heeducated,heinspired,heinformednotjustthepeoplethere,but
peoplethroughoutAmericaandunborngenerations.Hepushedforwardthe
paceofAmericanblacksocietytowardstheracialequality.
ThomasEdisonhadadream.Hedreamedofalampthatcouldbeoperated
byelectricity,beganwherehestoodtoputhisdreamintoaction,and
despitemorethantenthousandfailures,hestoodbythatdreamuntilhe
madeitaphysicalreality!Andtoday,hisdreamlightsuptheworldat
night.
WaltDisneyhadadream.This,initself,wasntunusual--hewasalways
dreaming.Hedreamedofmakingthefirstanimatedfeaturefilm,andof

buildinganamusementparkthatparentscouldenjoyrightalongwiththeir
kids.WaltDisneyempoweredhisdreamandtoday,Disneyland,Disneyworld
andDisneythemeparksattractaroundtheworldthrillmillionsof
visitorseachandeveryyear.
